Higher Road is an assessment facility located in Halewood, Knowsley, provided by Brothers of Charity Services in Merseyside. This 3 bedded service provides crisis intervention and emergency placements for people whose current service or living arrangement is at risk of breakdown, via the provision of long-stay temporary accommodation for up to six months.
People residing at Higher Road will be offered a person-centred programme of support which focuses on the transition back into a long-term or community-based living situation and enabling people to gain / maintain the necessary living skills to facilitation this transition. This service is open to people with a range of needs and offers where possible an alternative to admission to hospital / secure settings.
