Brothers of Charity Services Santa Stroll Contact A A A HIGH CONTRAST Text Only « Back to News Listen On Monday 14th and Thursday 17th of December, The Brothers of Charity Services in England held their Santa Strolls. The Lancashire stroll took place on the 17th December, everyone who was taking part met in The Chapel at Lisieux Hall before we set off on the 3km walk. Depending on mobility and personal preference there were different distances available if anyone didn’t want to walk the full 3km. Throughout the walk everyone had lots of festive fun, there were sign posts along the route with the Christmas quiz answers on and everyone was wearing their own Santa hat. On completion of the Santa Stroll everyone received a Santa Stroll medal. There were Christmas songs playing, a chance to take part in the Christmas quiz and non-alcoholic mulled wine, tea and coffee and mince pies available. The Brothers of Charity Services in Merseyside also held a Santa Stroll on Monday 14th December, taking part in a 1km course around the grounds of Thingwall Hall and its local neighbourhood. Everyone completed the full course and enjoyed getting out for ‘a festive breath of fresh air’, especially following their Christmas parties and other festivities! At the end of the course, everyone warmed up with non-alcoholic mulled wine and mince pies! Everyone was given a medal engraved with ‘BOCS Santa Stroll’ when they finished the course. Money was raised for The Brothers of Charity in Sri Lanka. Congratulations and thank you to everyone who took part in the Santa Stroll this year, we had lots of festive fun and are already looking forward to the Santa Stroll next Christmas!
