Our Roccoco and Creative Arts teams are loving being back together doing what they love, and it is safe to say they have been extra busy making up for lost time. Here you can see what our social enterprises have been up to this month.
Roccoco
Here is Angela and Emma at Roccoco’s Kiosk ready to serve their lovely customers. You can find them in Astley Park open every day from 10am till 3:30pm, selling a selection of hot and cold drinks, snacks and some delicious locally produced ice cream ‘Moo to You’. We hope to see you all very soon.
Chris made his first ever New York style vanilla cheesecake which as you can see was a huge success! Roccoco are now serving this delicious cheesecake topped with fresh whipped cream and raspberry coulis for £2.50.
Our wonderful team member Kate has been busy, polishing cutlery so it’s nice and shiny, even a Royal can see their reflection.
It was Tina’s turn to design the welcome board this week and what a wonderful job she has done! Well done Tina.
With the change in weather, we thought this was the perfect time to bring back our long awaited and highly requested home-made sticky toffee pudding. As Chris took charge, the rest of the team all had a sample try and confirm the dessert is delicious! On sale now served warm with vanilla ice cream or custard for an amazing £3.50.
We would like to welcome you to our new team member Bryn. This was Bryns first day working with us where we worked with Tom to prepare all the ingredients for our Carrot Cake then baked some shortbread biscuits to be served alongside a hot drink. Well done Bryn what a great first day.
Our team at Roccoco recently received some wonderful fresh produce grown by our Land Based team from there on site allotments. Damien and Jacob worked together to turn the onions into a fantastic caramelized chutney to serve alongside their sandwiches and toasties. It certainly went down a treat with our customers!
