Coldharbour Update November 2016

The mandatory requirement for both care providers and care managers to unequivocally deliver and evidence Regulatory compliance and risk within their organisations has become essential and in itself forms a key duty of care for care managers representing all Service Areas of the Brothers of Charity Services. With the new inspection regimes ranging from the CQC Fundamental Standards to the Care Act, local commissioner compliance and quality management systems to Health and Safety legislation then the care management focussed functionality of the E-Compliance module in the Brothers of Charity Services’ new Coldharbour care management system will be fundamental in supporting care managers to both effectively manage and deliver both mandatory compliance and good practice within the Services.

As such, a presentation on E-compliance will be delivered for BOCS England Managers at the Senior Managers briefing that has been organised at Thingwall Hall on 30th November 2016.

The Brothers of Charity Services’ Coldharbour E-Compliance module allows us via its electronic forms, screens and functionality to reflect, manage and evidence the major compliance obligations and risks to our Services and the people we support. The Brothers of Charity Services’ Coldharbour E-Compliance module will allow us to establish and reflect key care processes and risks with alerts and reports that provide a clear and transparent evidence trail, prioritisation and action plan for each area of care compliance which is a mandatory and unequivocal requirement for the Brothers of Charity Services to deliver.

The briefing forms part of the Brothers of Charity Services’ programme of cohesive, regional level training for managers, supporting continuing professional development and addressing compliance issues in and around the English Services
