Adult Day Services Lancashire

Adult Day Services Lancashire

Adult Day Services Lancashire. We provide a range of adult social care activities for people with learning disabilities in Chorley, Leyland, Addlington, Euxton and Bamber Bridge. We provide day services in the areas covered by South Ribble, Central Lancashire, and Chorley Council.

The Brothers of Charity Services in Lancashire offers a variety of adult day services for people with learning disabilities seven days a week. We offer opportunities for people with learning disabilities to develop new skills, take part in activities and hobbies. Whilst also encouraging people to socialise and join in with organised activities and events.

We have a range of community based social enterprises that enable people to build their confidence and take part in meaningful work.

Differing from more traditional, building-based models of support, we offer individual programmes to the people that we support within our specialist day services. These are designed to maximise therapeutic, leisure and health and wellbeing-based achievements. They also ensure the right level of community involvement for them.

This service also includes the use of a fully equipped ‘drop-in’ base at our site at Lisieux Hall in Whittle-le-Woods. Our adult day services Lancashire includes:

  • Bespoke Adult Day Service Lancashire

  • A strand of our adult day services, offers tailored day support for  people with Autistic Spectrum Conditions, Mental Health and Complex Behaviours. Our low-arousal’ area within the Lisieux Hall site offers a quiet and relaxing space. People who may struggle in high-stimulus environments can also be supported here to take part in their choice of activities.

Community Based Social Enterprises

We have a number of community based social enterprises that also provide adult day services in Lancashire. Our social enterprises give adults with learning disabilities the opportunity to gain training and work experience as well as learning new skills and interests.

The enterprises offer a variety of services including gardening, animal welfare, preparing food, customer service and craft activities. We have supported people to build their confidence and skills to go on to gain paid employment, as well as becoming part of their community.
