Crafty Uniforms
Our Crafty Uniforms team have helped deliver a Community Craft Session at Duke Street Children and Family Wellbeing Centre at the end of October. They had a group of ten children with their family members making Halloween Bunting to take home with them! Everyone had a fabulously sticky time and they left the session with happy faces.
Our creative team at Crafty Uniforms worked very hard to create poppies for our community craft sessions and to be used in this beautiful window display to commemorate Remembrance Day. Doesn’t it look amazing!
Crafty Uniforms have such a variety of craft and uniform items in store; they have decided to do a ‘Spotlight on Stock’ each week to let everyone know about the great products that they sell!
This week they are highlighting their PAINTS! They’re available in a variety of colours at just £2.00 each and they have more stock available upstairs. Please ask one of the friendly team members for assistance and they will be happy to help in any way they can!
We have had a very kind donation of some beautiful material at Crafty Uniforms. Pop in this week and grab a bargain before it’s all gone; they are selling it for £1 a metre. Thank you to everyone who kindly leaves us any donations of craft items, small or large, we greatly appreciate everything we receive!

Hands on Gardening
Although the winter season is fast approaching, we will see lots of interesting things in our customers’ gardens!
Our team recently spotted bees appearing from a customer’s beehive to make their last flight of the year to collect nectar from late flowering ivy. The bees will be preparing to settle down for over the winter months; we look forward to seeing them re-emerge next spring!
This time of year is always very busy for the team at Hands on Gardening. They’ve been working hard recycling cardboard and paper at Duxburys’ Garden Centre’s depot from their Christmas deliveries! Are you a local business and in need of some help with recycling? Get in touch with our team on 07834 480 363.
