The Greater Manchester Area will be sad to say farewell to Mahrukh Bhatti; Mahrukh is a student social worker who has been on placement within the Greater Manchester Services since 12th March 2018 and finishes on 22nd August 2018. Mahrukh is the 1st student social worker to have ever working within the Brothers of Charity Services on placement and this has been a learning experience for both. Mahrukh has really enjoyed her time here, learning and understanding the wide range of diverse services we deliver and would like to thank all the team within Standard House, the support workers across the whole of the Greater Manchester Service Area and also the wider regional Brothers of Charity Services team for making her feel so welcome. When she leaves Mahrukh will go onto Graduate and gain a Masters in Social Work, she has said that this has been a “memorable placement and excellent learning journey”. We have all enjoyed working with Mahrukh and will miss her enthusiasm for life and her kind and caring nature, good luck for the future Mahrukh.
