The Brothers of Charity Services have various Social Enterprises for adults with learning disabilities; services are designed to support people to develop skills with confidence in a supportive working environment whilst offering services in the local community.
Crafty Uniforms is one of the social enterprises that we offer at the Brothers of Charity Services. The team at Crafty Uniforms have been very busy lately.

Thank you so much for all the amazing donations we have received recently! We’ve had more than 50 people donate items in January and here are the ones that we managed to record. Please accept our humble apologies if we have missed you off!
We’re so truly blessed and without all your kind donations we could not continue, so please keep them coming. You are all truly wonderful, kind hearted folks!
Organising our donations
Our teams have spent hours patiently sorting through bags and boxes of patterns that have been kindly donated over the past few months. We now have several organised boxes of knitting, crochet and sewing patterns for our lovely crafty customers to search through to their hearts content. Please feel free to pop in to have a look!
Community Craft Session
The amazing team at Crafty Uniforms recently supported the delivery of a Community Craft Session for the Toddler Group at Chorley Methodist Church. Everyone had a fabulously sticky and glittery time creating these awesome Chinese Lanterns to celebrate Chinese New Year. This year it’s the Year of the Pig!

Valentine’s Window Display
Our crafty team have been busy preparing our Valentine’s window display which is brimming over with LOVE. We recently shared the first two hearts; the 1st one says ‘We’ and the 2nd says ‘Love’. We asked you to guess what the 3rd heart would be.
We had the following suggestions: ‘We Love… Chorley, You, People, Everyone’, but the nearest guess to the word on our heart was ‘Pre-owned’ which was posted by Tracey Robinson, whose guess was very similar to the word we chose, ‘Pre-loved’!
Well done everyone for all your comments, it was great fun seeing all the suggestions coming in.
Valentines Table Decorations
Our team of arty crafters have been hard at work again preparing some beautiful table decorations for Valentine’s Day. Don’t you think they did a beautiful job!
