Last month we promoted:

Santa Stroll 2016

Our annual Santa Stroll took place on the 1st December at Thingwall Hall (Merseyside) and on the 14th December at Lisieux Hall (Lancashire). We also had stalls, games and festive refreshments at both events.

The money raised by both events was donated to The Brothers of Charity’s Charitable Activities in Sri Lanka, as well as the Whitechapel Centre in Merseyside and Help the Homeless, Chorley in Lancashire.

Christmas Jumper Day

Brothers of Charity Services in England took part in Christmas Jumper Day on 16th December 2016 in aid of Save the Children.

We ran a competition for the best Christmas jumper from 1st December to 16th December!

Our Merseyside winner is Daniel Flynn and our Lancashire winner is Sam Atkinson. If you have not yet received your prize, please contact the Marketing team!

Brothers of Charity Services in Greater Manchester held a Christmas Jumper and Mince Pie Day on 21st December. They invited everyone from BOCS in Greater Manchester as well as local businesses to join them for a coffee and mince pie at Ela Mill. Read more about their fundraising event here.

All the proceeds from Christmas Jumper Day have been donated to Save the Children.

Foodbank

Throughout December, Brothers of Charity Services in Merseyside and Greater Manchester collected food and items for the Whitechapel Centre in Merseyside and the Manchester Central Foodbank in Greater Manchester.

Thank you to everyone for your kind donations, we had a fantastic amount for both charities!

January Promotion

This month we are promoting:

Throughout January, Brothers of Charity Services in England will be supporting Dry January.

With the start of a new year, why not take control of your finances throughout 2017.

Step Change, a debt awareness charity, offer a 7 day email programme called 7 Days, 7 Ways.

Each day for a week you will be sent an email linking to practical advice to help you with your finances. Written by expert debt advisors, the programme is the perfect starting point in dealing with your debt.

BOCS 5-a-side Football Tournament

Brothers of Charity Services is holding a 5-a-Side Football Tournament on Friday 24th March 2017 at both Thingwall Hall and Lisieux Hall.

If you are interested in taking part in the tournament, please sign up yourself or as a team! *Please take note that there will be a limit of 4 teams per tournament!*
