Brothers of Charity Services Secures Prestigious Investors in People Gold Again

The Brothers of Charity Services is pleased to formally confirm that a recent external assessment on behalf of Investors in People demonstrated that the Brothers of Charity Services meet all 196 criteria of the highly prestigious Investors in People Framework; and will continue to be recognised as Gold Investors in People.

The Investors in People award provides a best practice people management standard, offering external and objective accreditation to organisations that adhere to the Investors in People framework. Investors in People is owned by the UK government, managed nationally by the UK Commission for Employment and Skills and supported by the Department for Business, Innovation and Skills (BIS).

Following a rigorous assessment that included lengthy interviews with a large number of staff from right across the Brothers of Charity Services in Merseyside and Greater Manchester we now continue to form the top 1.5 % of 40,000 organisations across the UK who have achieved the Gold standard in IiP.

This is a fantastic result and we specifically thank the IIP Champions Group, the senior management team and all our staff colleagues for this tremendous success.

This Investors in People Gold standard is only given to those organisations who can demonstrate excellence in developing and supporting their staff and we needed to meet 196 evidence requirements standards that included commitment to values, personal development and social responsibility.

The assessment congratulates the Brothers of Charity Services on the positive ways in which it is embracing all of its challenges and changes and its determination to achieve exceptional performance in responding as a forward thinking organisation to a wide and constantly changing operating environment.
