On Monday 10th December our Lancashire services’ held their annual carol service at St Josephs in Chorley. Around 150 people attended the service in the Church!
Carol Service
During the service a number of people we support performed an amazing, short nativity to remind people about the origin of Christmas. We also had the fantastic Coppull and Standish Junior brass band who played our carols for us, everybody loved getting involved and singing along!
After party
After the service, everybody made their way over to the Parish centre. They enjoyed hot turkey and stuffing barms to get into the Christmas spirit and also had a DJ. Lots of fun was had by everyone, there was even a conga line going!
We would like to say a big thank you to the fantastic cast who performed the Nativity, they really did put on a great show! Also, thank you to the Pastoral Volunteers who helped put the service together; Father Peter who kindly let us use St Josephs and who gave the final blessing. Finally, to St Joseph’s parish centre who let us use the club free of charge. With all the help and support we received the day was a great success!
