The World’s Biggest Coffee Morning on Friday 28th September is Macmillan’s Biggest fundraising event for people facing cancer. The Macmillan team ask people all over the UK to host their own Coffee Mornings and donations on the day are made to Macmillan. Last year alone Macmillan raised over £27 million and together we can make this another successful year.
The team at Macmillan take the time to understand the support people need to live their lives as fully as they can. From the moment of diagnosis and whenever they’re most needed, they are there to help people find their best way through. The help is totally focused on each individual person, so everyone receives the support that’s best for them.
The Brothers of Charity Services are doing their bit too help Macmillan and raise as much money as we can for such a great cause. Both our Merseyside and Lancashire Services are hosting a Coffee Morning on Friday 28th September.
Lancashire-10:30am in the Voice for All Room at Lisieux Hall
Merseyside-11:00am in the Chapel at Thingwall Hall
There will be a selection of delicious cakes on sale alongside a cup of tea or coffee. Every slice of cake and cup of coffee will help to make a huge difference facing cancer. If you would like to donate a cake, please leave it at the reception at either location on the morning of the event.
