Our Merseyside Services’ Staff Awards took place on 22nd November 2019 at The Liner Hotel in Liverpool.
The annual event gives our staff the opportunity to celebrate everybody’s achievements over the last 12 months and highlights the hard work that takes places in all areas of the organisation. With so many different awards to be given out including Long Service and a variety of qualifications; it was fantastic to see what others had achieved over the past year.
As well as the Staff Awards, the Brothers of Charity Services also celebrated our talented staff and the people we support with Brothers Got Talent. We had a fabulous array of performances including Tony singing and playing the guitar to Walking in Memphis, Fred telling jokes, Sue singing Hallelujah, Christine singing Danny Boy and Stephen showing off his DJ skills. Thank you to you all for taking part!
During the event our staff were also treated to an amazing video produced by SelectionBOCS. The team had filmed a group of the people we support from across our Services saying how much their support staff mean to them. It brought smiles to everyone’s faces and showed the positive impact that our support workers make to the lives of the people we support.
The day was rounded up with a Christmas general knowledge quiz that got everybody chatting and scratching their heads for answers! Thank you to everyone who attended the staff awards; it was lovely to see all of your achievements and celebrate together the fantastic work that goes on every day throughout our Services.
