Roccoco Coffee Lounge, The Marina Café and The Walled Garden teamed up to celebrate National Allotments Week from 13th to 17th August 2018.
Our social enterprises based in Leyland and Adlington produced a range of delicious dishes and cakes made with home grown vegetables from The Walled Garden. Serving dishes such as chicken, beetroot and feta cheese salad and courgette & pistachio cake; the week gave the teams a chance to experiment and make some tasty new recipes while using locally picked ingredients sourced from just down the road!
