Expansion Generates Recruitment Drive for the Brothers of Charity

The Brothers of Charity Services in Lancashire is experiencing a significant period of growth and is looking for over 50 support workers on various contracts to come and join its team.

The Chorley based organisation is a major local employer, and currently has over 500 staff, supporting people with learning disabilities across the Lancashire region.

Heather Vickerman, Director of Care at the Brothers of Charity Services in Lancashire said: “After an exceptional year in 2015 with numerous contract wins, we are now supporting more people than ever.

“We are now looking to recruit people who are caring and compassionate to join the Brothers of Charity Services and complement our existing workforce.”

As part of their extensive training, the Brothers of Charity Services provide the Level 2 Diploma in Health and Social Care. No experience or qualifications are necessary, so whether you are looking for a full or part time role, or you are retired and looking for a few hours a week then they would love to hear from you.

The support worker positions are in a range of locations across Lancashire, supporting people with a variety of needs to learn, develop and live their lives as independently as possible. This could be supporting someone to attend a football match, go to the cinema, swimming or even on holiday!

The Brothers of Charity Services in Lancashire are holding a recruitment day on Tuesday 2nd February 2016 from 1pm – 8pm at their Lisieux Hall base. Please come along and meet some of the team and find out more about the Brothers of Charity Services and how you can make a difference.
