The Walled Garden
The team at The Walled Garden had a great time helping out at Penwortham in Bloom’s Build a Bug Workshop on Tuesday 3rd April! Here is a picture from the event.
We have received some lovely feedback from a lady who attended the Bug Hotel Workshop Workshop.
‘It was very well organised, all the materials were available and the people running the course were on hand to help the younger children and engage them in conversation about the possible insects that may take up residence in the boxes. The hand outs were very clear and the quiz on bees quite taxing even for the adults! An excellent event and from the morning session it had a good attendance. Congratulations to the organisers- it was very enjoyable on a cold wet Tuesday with a lovely product to take home!’
Well done to David and Nick, the two members of staff from The Walled Garden who rant he event. It was a great success!
Hands on Gardening
Unfortunately all of the gardens the team have visited have been waterlogged. The team have been able to help their customers this winter by installing some drainage for them. Why not cagll our teams to find out more information about the service.
Heaton Street
Even though it’s been very wet recently, the team at Heaton Street have been busy power washing some of our customers’ patios ready for summer. Why not call their friendly team who will be more than happy to discuss your needs further and find the perfect solution!
Hands on Gardening/Heaton Street
Our gardening teams recently took part in the making of St Catherine’s Park Arts Trail. They helped to plant yellow butterfly sculptures made by @LostockHallSLS, working in partnership with @southribblebc!

Did you recycle your Easter Egg packaging? It is amazing how much packaging we go through at Easter time. It will certainly make you think when you see facts like this!
Crafty Uniforms
The team at Crafty Uniforms held a free craft session at Cafe Connect in the Living Waters Church last Tuesday. The children who joined us had a great time making chicks, pigs and sheep to take home!
The team will be there again soon on Tuesday 10th April! Come along and make spring blossom pictures with us from 11am to 12:30pm.
