Social Enterprise Blog 12/09/18

The Brothers of Charity Services have various social enterprises for adults with learning disabilities; these services are designed to support people to develop skills with confidence in a supportive working environment whilst offering services in the local community.

The social enterprises carryout lots of great, fun activities for the people we support and the local communities to get involved with. Here you will be able to find out what each of the social enterprises have been up to this week.

Heaton Street

The team at Heaton Street had a great day last Thursday with the students from NCS at their event held at Lisieux Hall. They brought with them lots of games as well as musical instruments for us to play such as the keyboard and guitar. The students were also offering nail painting for anyone who fancied a pamper, as well as a delicious buffet that was enjoyed by everyone. It was a fantastic day and our teams loved being a part of it!

As the evenings are starting to get darker and autumn is fast approaching the Heaton Street team are starting to think about organising winter activities. The team wold love to volunteer at wildlife reserves such as Brickcroft in Longton.
