The Brothers of Charity Services have various Social Enterprise for adults with learning disabilities; the services are designed to support people to develop skills with confidence in a supportive working environment whilst offering services in the local community.
The social enterprises carryout lots of great, fun activities for the people we support and local communities to get involved with. Here you will be able to find out what each of the enterprises have been up to.
Roccoco
The wonderful team at Roccoco always enjoy making some tasty treats for the Network 50+ Group lunches. Here are David and Jacob with their scrumptious pies. Why not pop in to visit the team and see what else they have on offer. They are open Monday to Friday 9:30am to 3:30pm!
Santa’s little helpers over at Roccoco, have been making some delicious Christmas Gingerbread biscuits! Pop in and see what other festive foods the team have made.
The team at The Marina in Adlington, have a selection of winter warmers for customers to enjoy over the festive season! They’ll be serving a roast turkey dinner for £5.50 every day up until Christmas along with as scampi, chips and peas for £6.00. You can also try their delicious Broccoli and Cheddar soup for £3 with a roll and butter or add a sandwich for £4.75. For dessert, enjoy their Jam sponge and custard for £2.50.
The Marina Café is open Monday to Friday, 9am to 4pm. It will be closed to customers from 1pm on Christmas Eve until 2nd January 2020.
The Walled Garden
Here is Stuart at The Walled Garden, adding the final touches to one of their Christmas wreaths ahead of their festive activities. The team will be selling their beautiful wreaths for just £10 and will also be offering grave pots from £3! Our social enterprise in Chorley is open 9am to 4pm, Monday to Friday!
