Roccoco recently ran a tasty special of a Philly Cheese Steak Baguette for just £5.25! This included seasoned steak strips with onions in a rich gravy, topped with melting mozzarella. This was then served in a warm, crusty baguette with homemade coleslaw and salad garnish. It went down a treat with their customers!

Crafty Uniforms

The team at Crafty Uniforms have been busy preparing for card marking and mosaic craft sessions on 23rd August at Astley Community Centre and on 30th August at Windermere Community Centre; both have been organised by LCC Children and Family Wellbeing Service.

One of their fabulous team members, Stuart, had a great time practicing making a mosaic. We think you’ll agree that he’s made a wonderful creation!

The Walled Garden

One of our volunteers has kindly donated a Saffie Rose, named after Saffie-Rose Roussos, the youngest victim of the 2017 Manchester Area terror attack. What a beautiful way to remember Saffie and the people who lost their lives in the attack.

Last week our team spent some time preparing the flower bed, where the rose will soon be planted.

The Walled Garden had some fabulous feedback from a happy customer who purchased one of their summer hanging baskets and troughs; they were very pleased with how the displays have blossomed!

The popularity of their summer hanging baskets and pots has given the team a great idea of autumn hanging baskets. They would love to know what their lovely customers think of this idea and if it’s something they’d be interested in. Please comment below with your feedback, thank you.

In June we posted about the grapes we grow in the vine house. Look how much they’ve grown in the space of 2 months?! They’re just turning and an impressive sight that should not be missed!
