The Brothers of Charity Services in Lancashire have various social enterprises for adults with learning disabilities; these services are designed to support people to develop skills with confidence in a supportive working environment whilst offering services in the local community.

The social enterprises carryout lots of great, fun activities for the people we support and the local communities to get involved with. Here you will able to find out what each of the social enterprises have been up to this week.

Pets Corner

The Degus at Pets Corner are enjoying a good run on their wheel. Pop in and give them a visit; they are open weekdays 10:00am to 3:30pm and weekends 10:00am to 4:00pm.

Crafty Uniforms

Are you planning a wedding, attending one, or just fancy making your own card for the happy couple? The team at Crafty Uniforms have a variety of craft items to suit everyone’s taste! Pop in and see what they have to offer!

Crafty Uniforms received a very generous donation of arts and craft materials this week from a very kind person! The items will be sorted, bagged up and used towards raising funds for the enterprise and also used for some of their community craft sessions that they organise. Thank you to all the kind people who donated; the team are very grateful no matter how large or small the donation!

Roccoco

Roccoco’s special this week is a tasty jacket potato served with Mediterranean vegetables topped with cheddar cheese. Pop in and enjoy the special; they are open Monday to Friday 9:30am to 3:30pm.

Hands on Gardening tip- Even with all the rain the past few days, don’t forget to continue to water your pots and hanging baskets. These often get missed by rain and will suffer if they are not watered!
