The Brothers of Charity Services in England Launches Exciting New Website

The Brothers of Charity Services in England have been working with Liverpool based agency, Webrevolve to create an exciting new website which will enable them to ‘stand out from the crowd’ and create an impact with the wide variety of stakeholders that we look to engage positively with, through the visual presentation, content and ease of navigation.

The completion of the website and launch follows the support of the Brothers of Charity Services’ own cross service staff and service user team to review and refresh its current web presence towards a more inclusive and contemporary design intended to support more effective and participative communication and interaction with all of our stakeholders.

The website features a creative approach to site navigation, taking the user on an engaging journey, allowing them to scroll effortlessly and with confidence through the different pages of the website, clicking on symbols/ icons when prompted.

The Brothers of Charity Services in England’s new website is fully and intuitively accessible for everyone by the primary use of imagery rather than words, this functionality was a key part of the website design brief. Pages containing more descriptive text will be present where required. These pages will support full accessibility through built in ‘Read Speaker’ software which reads out selected website text, other standard accessibility options will also be available such as increasing the text size and changing the contrast.

The new website will enable the Brothers of Charity Services in England to engage with the people we support, staff, families and wider stake holders and to fully communicate their defining characteristics and visions and values throughout the user journey in a fully integrated way. This helps to ensure that the ethos and heritage of the Brothers of Charity Services in England remains clear and meaningful and is communicated throughout website.
