Work With Us

The people who work with us make us who we are.  Every day hundreds of people represent Brothers of Charity Services in the community, supporting people to lead as fulfilled and independent a life as possible.

As our services grow, we are often looking for people who have a passion and a commitment to make a real difference to individuals who may have a learning disability, mental health or other complex need.

Many of our available roles are for Support Workers.  It may be that you have never considered such a role before, as you may not have recognised qualifications or relevant experience. However, what we look for in all candidates, whether experienced or not, is a positive attitude, empathy for the people we support and a willingness to learn.

Join us, and you’ll be part of a well-established, forward thinking organisation that has a strong ethos of putting the individual at the heart of everything we do. We offer good rates of pay and benefits, plus an extensive in-house training programme.

Volunteer

Volunteers enrich the service we offer by contributing their gifts, time and personalities.

All relationships are mutual and in return volunteers get the opportunity to use their gifts in a way that makes a real difference.

  • To develop new skills and friendships
  • To gain work experience
  • To access our in-service training programme

Sometimes Parents also appreciate the opportunity to Volunteer and have the chance to meet other parents and relate to the service outside of their role as ‘carer’.

Volunteering can happen on a regular basis in any dimension of the service or on a more irregular basis by giving your time or energy for a specific pastoral event. We always warmly welcome any enquires for support.
