The Brothers of Charity Services’ Heritage Festival took place on Saturday 7th June 2014, with a theme of peace and reconciliation.

The event was the finale of the Brothers of Charity services’ Heritage week, which was hosted by Brothers of Charity Services – Merseyside this year.

The Heritage Festival showcased all of the great work that the organisation carries out, with a message of peace and reconciliation – based on a quote from their founder, Joseph Triest, when he came out of hiding:

“I have forgiven my enemies from the bottom of my heart”.

Hundreds of people attended the Heritage Festival at Thingwall Hall, to learn about what the Brothers of Charity Services does as an organisation and to see representatives from different nationalities and cultural groups living in Liverpool, who provided information on their culture through stalls, food, music, dancing, singing and presentations.

Next year’s Brothers of Charity Services’ Heritage Event will be hosted by Brothers of Charity Services – Lancashire at Lisieux Hall.
