Last month we promoted:

Dementia Awareness week – 14th to 20th May 2017

Dementia is set to be the 21st century’s biggest killer. But awareness and understanding remains low and many families are facing it alone. Our Merseyside and Greater Manchester Services are both holding a Cupcake Day on Thursday 15th June to raise money for the Alzheimer’s Society. Find out more here.

Senior Management Briefing – Wednesday 17th May 2017

We held our Management Briefing at the Ramada Hotel in Southport. The event was held to promote continued positive engagement, share valued professional knowledge and to enhance effective senior colleague communication across the wide and diverse activities of the Brothers of Charity Services in England.

This month we are promoting –

National Volunteers Week – 1st to 7th June

Volunteers from Brothers of Charity Services in Lancashire will take part in a 6 mile walk in Cuerden Valley Park. This is the 5th year that a walk has been organised to celebrate the contribution volunteers make to local charities and NGOs in general and to the Brothers of Charity Services in Lancashire in particular.
