September Promotion – This month we are promoting:
World Alzheimer’s Month
To raise awareness of World Alzheimer’s Month, the official promotional material and information from http://www.worldalzmonth.org/en will be shown on the reception screen at Thingwall Hall and Lisieux Hall. Staff will be signposted to resources through the website and intranet.
Jeans for Genes Day
The Brothers of Charity Services will be overdoing it with denim for Jeans for Genes Day on 22nd September!
There will be a small donation of £1 to join in to raise funds for Genetic Disorders UK. Please leave your donation with reception at either Thingwall Hall, Lisieux Hall or at the Ela Mill office.
National Fitness Day
National Fitness Day 2017
Our Merseyside Services are holding a Walk in the Park on 23rd September at Sefton Park from 12:30pm. The entry fee is £5 or you can receive sponsors from friends and family. Read more here.
Our Lancashire Services have invited Charlotte’s Tandems to Lisieux Hall on the 27th September. The bikes and trikes will be available to ride between 10:30am and 12pm. Read more here.
Macmillan Coffee Morning
Our Merseyside Services will be holding their coffee morning in The Chapel at Thingwall Hall from 11am. Our Lancashire Services will be holding their coffee morning in the Voice for All room at Lisieux Hall from 11am. All monies raised will be donated to Macmillan Cancer Support. Read more here.
