On Thursday 13th April, the Brothers of Charity Services in Merseyside held an Easter Eggstravaganza in The Chapel at Thingwall Hall.
There were plenty of fabulous Easter themed prizes to be won on our game stalls! These included Guess the name of the Bunny, Find the Easter Bunny and an Easter Raffle. We also had a cake stall with a range of delicious cakes for people to enjoy and a craft stall for people to make Easter cards!
The winner of the Easter Decoration Competition was also announced during the event! We had asked everyone we support from our Merseyside Services to make an Easter Decoration for the competition. There were lots of amazing entries which made it very hard to pick a winner! After a long discussion it was decided that Paul McKim, with his very colourful Easter Poster, was the winner followed by Marie Walker and Susan Wilde. However, everyone who entered received a small prize for creating fantastic Easter decorations!
Congratulations to all of our Easter Game and Raffle winners too!
- Helen Caulsten who found the Easter Bunny.
- Margaret Goodyear guessed the amount of Easter Eggs in the jar.
- Paul McKim, Sue Bridge and Pat Kelly for winning the top 3 prizes in the Raffle.
- Linda Murphy who guessed Ruby for the Easter Bunny’s name.
Everyone who attended had a great time playing games, making Easter crafts, spending time with friends and tucking in to delicious cakes. We managed to raise an impressive £212, which will go towards the Merseyside Services Christmas Awards and Party!
A huge thank you goes to everyone who donated prizes, delicious cakes and to the staff that helped make it such a successful event!
