The Brothers of Charity Services in Greater Manchester is able to provide an outreach support, or floating support service that offers a flexible and dynamic approach.
The person is truly at the centre of our outreach support service, which will provide them with everything they need to become an active, participating member of society by accessing local community groups and facilities. This approach will enable them to receive the support that they want, as and when they need it, whether it’s a few hours a week or a couple of hours every day.
It may be support in the mornings to get up, prepare breakfast and shower or support to develop daily living skills such as managing finances, taking part in educational, employment and training opportunities, as well as getting involved in preferred social activities whilst ensuring people stay safe and healthy.
Some of the things this service may be able to help with are;
- Community access and involvement
- Personal care and mobility support
- Managing and maintaining tenancy
- Budgeting and claiming the right benefits
- Developing / maintaining daily living skills
- Signposting and access to services
