News, Voice For All

Voice for all, our Self Advocacy Group in Lancashire, had a fantastic time at this year’s Preston Pride.

This year the event was on Saturday 28th September at the Flag Market in Preston. Voice for All had teamed up with Meet ‘N’ Match, an organisation that helps adults with Learning Disabilities and/or Autism to find friends and relationships, and together they had their own stall.

The day was off to a damp start with a down poor of rain, but by 10:30am the sun came out to join everyone for the rest of the day! Our Voice for All members were offering a range of goodies to passers-by including friendship bracelets, glitter face-painting and small ‘stay safe’ packs from the Lancashire Sexual Health Team. The day gave our group a great chance to meet and talk to members of the public and tell them about the great work Voice for All and the Brothers of Charity Services do.

Preston Pride was packed with people of all ages having a great time; the atmosphere was electric! Voice for All received many kind donations from visitors to their stall which they are very grateful for and they already can’t wait for next year’s event.
