Lisieux Hall Nursing Home held a fantastic coffee and cake afternoon for St Georges day last month. Everyone who attended really enjoyed the community atmosphere and the delicious cakes! The sunny weather completed the afternoon which will be remembered fondly by everyone who attended.
As well as celebrating St Georges Day and English culture, Lisieux Hall Nursing Home also took the opportunity to raise money to develop the garden at the rear of the Nursing Home for the people we support, they raised £93 in total at the St Georges Day event.
The nursing home plans to spend the money raised on new paving to allow wheelchair access to the patio and a sun canopy over the patio as it is in full sun some of the time. Aiming to make the garden more sensory and interactive, the team have lots of ideas how to create this.
On Thursday 14th May at 7pm Lisiuex Hall Nursing Home is hosting a Pamper Evening. ‘Body Shop’ are coming to the event and providing creams and lotions for hand massage and foot massages, there will be lots of products to try.
Light refreshments will be available throughout the night, a raffle will also be held with products donated by Body Shop to help with fundraising. Raffle tickets will be on sale during the evening for £1 each.
