Brothers of Charity Services celebrated Dignity Action Day by holding Digni-tea parties across their services in Greater Manchester, Merseyside and Lancashire. Our Digni-tea parties were a great way of raising awareness of the importance of Dignity in care as well as being an enjoyable day for the people we support.

Greater Manchester’s Digni-tea Party

Brothers of Charity Services in Greater Manchester invited everyone to join them for a 1940’s themed Digni-tea party at Ela Mill on Wednesday 1st of February. Their party started with a music session of singing and dancing to popular songs from the 1940’s. This was followed by a delicious cup of tea, a slice of cake and a chat about Dignity in care.

Merseyside and Lancashire’s Digni-tea Party

Brothers of Charity Services in Merseyside and in Lancashire both held Digni-tea parties on Friday 3rd February. They invited everyone from their services to come along for a hot drink, some cake and to talk about Dignity in care. Both events also featured a handmade Digni-tree. Everyone at the event was able to add a message of what Dignity means to them to our Digni-trees. They are now on display in the Resource Centre at Thingwall Hall and in the Voice for All Room at Lisieux Hall.
