On the 18th March our services in Lancashire held a stakeholder event in line with the Driving up Quality code.
Since our DuQ stakeholder event our Lancashire Quality Group have been breaking down the suggestions and comments made by people using our service, their families/carers and other customers and partners into SMART objectives. The resulting action plan will be shared with our stakeholders to ensure their continued inclusion and involvement.
Our service has also been mentioned in the most recent edition of the DuQ Alliance’s newsletter as an example of best practice when it comes to the information detailed and the method/format utilised in our self-assessment/stakeholder report and action plan. Initial comments made by our liaison with the Alliance stated;’The report itself is well laid out and straightforward to read because you have made the effort to present it in an accessible format….if I was looking for a provider that inspired trust I would have no worries about picking the Brothers of Charity, based on this report.’
