Brothers of Charity Services Lancashire are holding their annual, pre-Christmas arts and crafts event, widely known as ‘Crafts at Christmas Sale’.

It will take place at their Whittle le Woods arts centre on Saturday 15th November from 10am until 3pm. The event will feature a wide range of handmade arts and crafts items including ceramics and original artwork suitable for the home and garden, all available to buy on the day. There will also a beautiful selection of handmade Christmas cards, tree decorations and Christmas themed ornaments.

The event is organised by The Creative Arts Team, currently based at Lisieux Hall on Dawson Lane, Whittle le Woods. Artists will convert their art centre and studio spaces in order to professionally display their creative achievements. This is the perfect way to pick up some unique, handmade gifts or even treat yourself.

This year, their gallery exhibition space will feature the work of up and coming artist John Robinson whose work is a range of mixed media pieces influenced by artists such as Frederick Hundertwasser and Albert Irwin. The exhibition is sure to impress. Customers who have visited previous events have commented very positively about the art work and exhibitions, including “Fantastic artwork….. Just amazing – so many achievements within these walls…. Very talented artists”

In addition, artists will be serving a selection of drinks, cakes and mince pies in their refreshment area. There is ample parking and admission is free. So why not come and join them and add a little creativity to your Christmas shopping.
