In 2011 we were fortunate enough to receive a donation by friends of the Service, enabling us to set up a special fund for people who use services to have access to if they needed help with something they would not be able to afford themselves, such as visiting family who lived a long way away, pursuing a hobby or interest, help towards a special celebration or holiday.
The fund was called: Service Enhancement Fund and since 2011 nearly 80 people, both individually and in groups have made a claim from the Fund.
We are now relaunching the Fund under the new name of Moneybocs which will continue to be run by a Panel of people who will meet up every three months to look through any new requests that have been received.
