Picnic in the Park 2016 – ‘Creature Cuddles’ at Pets Corner
Come along to Chorley’s Picnic in the Park at Astley Park on 26th June, 12pm to 5pm, for a free afternoon of family entertainment.
Chorley council has teamed up with Rock Fm to bring a fantastic family stage show to Astley Park with performances from Mr Bloom, children’s entertainers, top local bands, singers, and a surprise guest from a popular television reality contest as well as face painters and balloon modellers. There will be lots of free fun interactive activities for children like circus workshops, sports, games, orienteering challenges, arts and crafts.
Visit Pets Corner, our social enterprise based in Astley Park, during the event and enjoy ‘Creature Cuddles’, interactive hands-on sessions with a variety of Pets Corners resident animals. This is a free activity however any donations received will help to go towards the upkeep of the animals that live in there.
There will be a board outside Pets Corner with a schedule for ‘Creature Cuddles’ including the times for each animal interaction session.
Our kiosk will also be open providing refreshments.
