The Brothers of Charity Services have various Social Enterprises for adults with learning disabilities; services are designed to support people to develop skills with confidence in a supportive working environment whilst offering services in the local community.
The social enterprises carryout lots of great, fun activities for the people we support and the local communities to get involved with. Here you will be able to find out what each of the enterprises have been up to.
The Walled Garden
National Gardening Week took place recently and to celebrate our team at The Walled Garden were sewing some delicious lettuces! They are also working very hard on creating their wonderful hanging baskets that will be on sale at a later date!
It’s Rhubarb season and our patch is doing really well! Come and visit us for some fresh sticks of rhubarb available at 5 for £1. We are open weekends 11am to 3pm!

Pets Corner
Recently our team have welcomed a new resident pet; Lizzie the leopard Gecko! She has been kindly donated to Pets’ Corner by a member of the public. Lizzie has been settling in well and loves her vivarium! Pop in and say hello this week; we’re open weekdays, 10am to 3:30pm and weekends 10am to 4pm.

With free entry and just £1 for a veg box, your little ones can also help feed our animals.
Our Degus have been keeping fit on their exercise wheel. If you are looking for something to keep the kids busy on the weekend, pop in and visit our Degus and other friendly residents to see what they’re up to!

Crafty Uniforms
Our fabulous team have been working very hard, cutting, painting, gluing and sticking, to create this wonderful window display to celebrate May Day. Doesn’t it look amazing!
Our team have been very busy after finding a box of mixed up buttons in need of some TLC. We have organised store perfectly, to help our customers find exactly what they need!
We have buttons in lots of different colours and a wide variety of shapes and sizes for some great prices! If you are looking for buttons for your next knitting project we are sure you will find something here, pop in and see what we have to offer. We are open weekdays 9am to 4pm.
Looking to get the kids ready for the summer months? We have lots of pre-loved school shirts and summer dresses from as little as 50p. Pop in or phone first to check if we have what you need on 01257 277 060.
We have kindly received lots of donations lately of school uniform items, but unfortunately we have been struggling to find space for them all in our shop. We have had a big spring clean and found some lovely new homes for some of our items. Our team have started to take donations again and we are so thankful for every single one of them! We do apologise to anyone who we have had to disappoint by turning away their donations.
