The Brothers of Charity Services in Lancashire have various Social Enterprises for adults with learning disabilities; these services are designed to support people to develop skills with confidence in a supportive working environment whilst offering services into the local community.
The Social Enterprises carryout lots of great, fun activities for the people we support and the local communities to get involved with. Here you will be able to find out what each of the Social Enterprises have been up to this week
Crafty Uniforms – ‘Community Christmas Gift’ Competition Winners
Thank you to everyone who entered Crafty Uniforms ‘Community Christmas Gift’ competition to win £10 school uniform vouchers for your local school.
Crafty Uniforms, our retail enterprise based in Chorley, held their competition to help families in need at Christmas. They asked customers, friends and Facebook followers to like and share posts about the competition on Facebook as well as comment their local school’s name to enter them.
The winning schools are; Duke St Primary School, St Gregory Catholic Primary School and Mayfield School.

Roccoco Awarded Top Food Hygiene Rating
Roccoco, our food based enterprise in Leyland, has been awarded the top rating of 5 for Food Hygiene from South Ribble inspectors! What a fantastic achievement for the team. They work extremely hard day in and day out to ensure that the standards of hygiene are the best they can be at all times. We are so proud of our fabulous team!

Millie, Pets Corner’s Mille Fleur Bantam chicken, was being very mischievous the other day and playing hide-and-seek in some unusual places!
Pop in this week and visit Pets Corner’s resident pets; they’re open 10am to 3:30pm weekdays and 10am to 4pm at weekends.

Walled Garden
Our Services in Lancashire enjoyed their Christmas Party at Shaw Hill Golf Resort & Spa Hotel. The team at The Walled Garden designed and created this wonderful festive garland to decorate the venue.
