The Brothers of Charity Services in Lancashire have various Social Enterprises for adults with learning disabilities; these services are designed to support people to develop skills with confidence in a supportive working environment whilst offering services into the local community.
The Social Enterprises carryout lots of great, fun activities for the people we support and the local communities to get involved with. Here you will be able to find out what each of the Social Enterprises have been up to this week.

Crafty Uniforms

Crafty Uniforms are holding a free craft session at Café Connect at the Living Waters Church on Tuesday 13th February. Why don’t you come down and see what they have to offer from 11am to 12:30pm. Everyone is welcome!

Are you in the mood for getting crafty for Valentine’s Day and making your someone special a nice card? Pop down to crafty uniforms and see what materials are available in store!

           

Roccoco

Roccoco have two specials this week; both perfect for lunch! Do you fancy a bacon, brie and cranberry baguette/panini served with salad and coleslaw for £4.50? Or maybe the quiche served with salad and coleslaw for £3.95 is more for you.

            

 

Hands on Gardening

The teams at Hands on Gardening have been working extremely hard this week in the frost. The cold, fresh weather has made for some beautiful days and the teams have been enjoying working outside in the dry weather, which makes a change from all rain we’ve been had recently.

Hands on Recycling

On 22nd February the team at Hands on Recycling will be doing a presentation to the Eco Group at Broad Oak School in Penwortham. This school has recently become one of our regular customers and we are therefore providing them with a cost effective recycling service on a weekly basis. Heaton Street

The team at Heaton Street have begun completing grounds maintenance at the Lancashire Police Headquarters in Hutton this week. The teams have absolutely loved the variety of tasks that there is to be completed. It will certainly keep them busy moving through the seasons.
