Social Enterprise Blog 30/11/18

The Brothers of Charity Services have various Social Enterprises for adults with learning disabilities; services are designed to support people to develop skills with confidence in a supportive working environment whilst offering services in the local community.

The social enterprises carryout lots of great, fun activities for the people we support and the local communities to get involved with. Here you will be able to find out what each of the social enterprises have been up to this week.

The Walled Garden

We are so excited to have real reindeer’s at The Walled Garden’s Christmas Markets on 2nd December! We would like to say a huge thank you to John Southworth Builders for making this possible; we’re sure they will be very popular!

Our team (and scarecrow) are getting in the festive spirit for our Christmas Market. There is still time to book in and see Santa in his Grotto by Contacting Matt on 07834 480 365, or email m.hoyles@brothersofcharity.org.uk . There will be lots of festive food, crafts and stalls at the market.

We hope you’re looking forward to it as much as we are!

The Walled Garden has started to look very wintry but there is still plenty of colour from their array of beautiful foliage! Pop in over the weekend for a wander, they’re open Saturday and Sunday 11am-3pm.

Brothers of Charity Services

We recently held a competition to design our corporate Christmas Cards, we have had so many wonderful entries from the people we support across the North West, who are all super talented! Inprint, our Social Enterprise Printers based in Chorley are currently doing a brilliant job printing the winning cards!

We have some really talented people in our services! Here is one of our corporate Christmas Cards designed by our Lancashire Services.
