Network 50+ is BOCS Integrated Retirement Service and operates through a social network of clubs across the Chorley and South Ribble Borough areas. The clubs are based on a model of Coffee mornings, lunch clubs and a full range of social, creative and educational activities for elderly adults with or without support needs. Activities range from Keep fit to bingo, dancing, speakers, entertainers and quizzes, giving everyone the opportunity to make new friends and socialise in a safe and supportive environment.
Each club is represented on a monitoring committee with an agreed constitution and we promote participation and partnership at all levels of the service. An office/drop-in base is provided in order to facilitate the significant level of planning and administration required of the staff team. This base also provides information and coffee mornings for all members of the different clubs with a warm welcome assured for all.
