Ann was first a Care Assistant at St Helens Metropolitan Borough Council, after which she became a Senior Support worker at St Helens Metropolitan Borough Council. She later decided to become Branch Manager for St Helens and Warrington areas at Housing 21, and then went on to be a Locality Manger for St Helens and Knowsley areas at Brother of Charity. She is now the Operational Manager for St Helens and Knowsley areas at Brother of Charity and has a NVQ Level 2- Care, NVQ Assessors Qualification and Level 4-Registered Mangers Qualification under her belt. In addition to this, she is also a Level 3-Advanced Dementia Practitioner.
