Drama Sessions at Thingwall Resource Centre

Activities

On Thursday 5th February, Thingwall Resource Centre hosted two free Drama Tasters taken by Gemma Rockcliffe, a creative and performing arts student.

The activities were designed to get to know the group, see what people enjoyed and help Gemma plan for future sessions.

Gemma used stories and games to engage the group and many people enjoyed the opportunity to shout out and have some fun! The enthusiastic response to the activities was amazing! Many people said that they would love to come again next week. There is a charge of £5 a week after the first taster sessions, and everyone said that it was worth it for the fun and activities they could take part in.

Having a go at drama will give you a chance to express yourself in a safe and comfortable environment. It improves your confidence building, helps you to communicate and is a lot of fun.

There are no boundaries, there are no limits and there is no required ability, every single person can enjoy drama!

Anyone who didn’t make it for the taster but who would still like to participate in the Drama can turn up next week and sign up on the day.

The paid sessions will take place from Thursday 12th February at 1pm – 3pm and will include a break for refreshments.
