The Brothers of Charity Services’ invites you to their Heritage Day at Thingwall Hall on Thursday 30th June, 11am to 3pm. The Merseyside and Greater Manchester Staff Awards will follow on from the Heritage day, running from 3pm to 5pm.
The theme for this year’s Heritage Day is friendship and kindness, inspired by a quote from the Brothers of Charity’s founder, Canon Peter Joseph Triest, “Treat everyone gently and kindly. Trying as far as possible to be of service and spread happiness…”
The day will include the Health BOCS Football Final between Merseyside and Lancashire staff, musical performances, food, stalls and much more, while celebrating the heritage of the Brothers of Charity.
Heritage Day Itinerary
11am start – Stalls and games will be running throughout the whole event. These will include crafts, cakes, a raffle and tombola.
11:30am – Introduction and football match
Lunch available from 12pm
1:15pm – Speech and Heritage day Presentation
1:45pm – Performances from:
- St Margaret Mary’s school,
- The Voice for All Choir
- ImageInk & Aspire Drama Group’s Signing Choir
2:45pm – speech to end Heritage Day.
3pm to 5pm – Staff awards event
