We are pleased to announce the recent success of the Walk for Life to raise funds for Macmillan Cancer Care. Helen Latimer from the resource centre did an excellent job successfully leading the walk which involved a budding team of staff and people we support.
The walk to Dovecot Park and back was an enjoyable day for all involved, with those taking part enjoying a fun and friendly active day outdoors whilst raising money.
We are delighted with the outstanding effort by the people we support. This has allowed us to raise an amazing £373.75, it has been a complete success!
The cheque presentation for the Walk for life took place at the Resource Centre on Tuesday 29th July 2014 allowing all to celebrate the hard work achieved by everyone involved. The cheque was presented to Macmillan Cancer Care representative and will be massively appreciated.
