Love was in the air for our Merseyside Services on the 14th February at their Valentine’s Day Party! Clients and staff were invited to join us at the Broadway Social Club for a fun afternoon with friends.
The function room was beautifully decorated with valentines bunting and hearts were draped from wall to wall. Red bows were tied around the white chair covers, adding to the Valentine’s Day theme.
The party started at 12pm and once clients and staff were seated, valentine cards were given out along with a delicious sweet gift. The DJ for the afternoon was Joe Curry who got everyone up dancing with a selection of party hits! Some of our clients enjoyed a sing-a-long on karaoke; serenading the audience with love songs.
A delicious buffet was served for everyone to enjoy and it was a great opportunity for people to have a chat and socialise. The raffle brought lots of excitement and we had plenty of joy when the winners received their fantastic prizes.
The party was enjoyed by everyone and it was all to raise money for future events for our clients at the Brothers of Charity Services in Merseyside.
Our Liverpool services would like to thank staff members for making jam tarts and our clients for colouring and cutting out hearts to make beautiful decorations. Thank you to Margaret for the lovely decorations she provided for the event and to Imagink for all of their help and support. A big thank you to Paul for his help, Joe Curry for being the DJ for our event and to Brian Rea for being the photographer on the day!
We raised a whopping £1056 the Valentine’s party as well as from other recent fundraising events and activities.
