A group of staff and people we support from the Brothers of Charity Services in Merseyside have raised an incredible £1650 for Danielle, a staff member who is trying to raise £10,000 for alternative treatments for stage 4 cancer.
The group from the Men’s Group, Thingwall Services, the Thingwall Resource Centre and friends fundraised through a sponsored walk up Moel Famau at the beginning of June, fundraising raffles and a chocolate bingo.
Danielle said: “To all involved in the sponsored walk up Moel Famau and other fundraising activities, thank you so much, its a huge help towards my alternative treatments, I’m so very grateful. Lots of Love, Danielle”.
Mike Hardman who was involved with organising the walk said: “A huge thank you to everyone involved and special thanks to everyone who took part in the walk”.
