Our Merseyside Services held their HealthBOCS Football Match on 11th April 2019 at Thingwall Hall.
There was an air of anticipation on the morning of the match, with both the Mighty Men’s Group and Resource Warriors determined to win the game. With the glorious spring weather on our side, the game kicked off at 11am with a large crowd ready to cheer on their team.
The match was action packed from start to finish, with some great goals scored on both sides! Celebrations were a plenty; especially when Neil scored a hat-trick for the Mighty Men’s Group which gave him the Man of the Match accolade. Dan also made some impressive saves for the team which gave them a great lead!
With a huge amount of effort put in by both teams, the end score was 7-3 to the Mighty Men’s Group. Congratulations to the winning team and thank you to the Resource Warriors for taking part in our HealthBOCS Football match. The final will be played against Heaton St and Co, at our Heritage Day at Lisieux Hall in July 2019.
