The Summerhill Garden Centre, the latest social enterprise developed by the Brothers of Charity at Thingwall Hall, Broadgreen, L14 7NY is holding it’s Grand Opening throughout the Spring Bank Holiday weekend between Friday 1st and Monday 4th May 2015.
From Friday 1st – Monday 4th May the Summerhill Garden Centre will be holding a range of fun activities including planting your own Forget-Me-Not to take home in a plant pot. The Forget-Me-Not is the flower which appears on the Summerhill Garden Centre’s logo!
As a social enterprise run by the Brothers of Charity, the Summerhill Garden Centre provides valuable work and training opportunities to the most marginalised people in society.
The Summerhill Garden Centre by the Brothers of Charity has undergone a programme of improvements and refurbishments, preparing it for this year’s growing season and is now stocked with beautiful, high quality plants.
Ian Lammond, retail manager said: “The Summerhill Garden Centre is perfect for budding and very accomplished gardeners of all skill sets, our friendly, approachable Summerhill staff team are more than happy to offer advice about the plants you need and how to look after them.”
The Summer Hill Garden Centre is located at Thingwall Hall in Broadgreen, Liverpool (L14 7NY) and is now open 7 days a week, 9:30 – 5pm Monday to Saturday and 10 – 4pm on Sundays.
