The government has a clear objective for more people with a learning disability to participate in employment and wherever possible take up paid work. Since the late 1980’s the Brothers of Charity Services in Merseyside has made a commitment to support people in both voluntary work and wherever possible, paid employment.
The learning and development of each person supported is at the forefront of our ethos – whether it be supporting people to develop soft skills such as time-management and flexibility, technical skills in relation to a particular work environment/industry or simply growing in confidence and making new friends.
