Thank you to Nikki Farnworth and Jane Pilkington, who were on call managers at the time when a location experienced a leak in the bathroom with the water effecting the bedroom used by a client. Nikki and Jane responded quickly and professionally to ensure that our new client could be supported safely and the presenting issue dealt with swiftly and appropriately.
The incident occurred during a Bank Holiday weekend which impacted on the availability of external professionals. Staff quickly addressed the situation and ensured alternative arrangements were made whilst the bedroom was out of use. This involved sourcing temporary night time accommodation in such a short space of time.
Nikki and Jane liaised effectively with all relevant others and received complimentary feedback from our clients parents. This was an excellent example of their responsive and person centred approach.
