Annabelle Draper, our team leader for the food based enterprises in Lancashire, went above and beyond her job role recently. When a large fire broke out close to the Marina Café, Annabelle spoke to all of the families that it would affect and ensured that all of the staff and people we support would be safe.
This was all done before 8am in the morning to allow people time to make changes to their plans. The café also served refreshment’s to the fire fighters that was recognised on the Lancashire Fire Services twitter and Facebook pages mentioning Brothers Of Charity in both of these.
